Ingredients
  

  • Apple Filling:
  • 6 Apples peeled and diced
  • 100 grams Brown Sugar
  • 5 ml Lemon Juice
  • Pinch Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch Ground Nutmeg
  • 2 piece Puff Pastry
  • 2 Eggs
  • Handful or flour to dust

Instructions
 

  • Mix the apples, sugar, lemon juice and spices and let them macerate and preheat the oven to 180 deg C.
  • Cut the 2 puff pastry sheet into 3 x 3 equal squares.
  • On each puff pastry square, spoon 2 -3 tbsp of apple mix, then egg wash the borders and place another square on top and crimp the sides. Poke a few holes at the top to vent steam.
  • Egg wash the tops and bake in oven for about 30 minutes or until golden brown.
